A Day In Mt. Shasta

We took the girls a couple of Saturdays ago to Mt. Shasta to hike and play in a few creeks. We saw some beautiful scenery. This is something that we are loving about living in Northern Cali. We hiked a little and put our feet in a very chilly little creek. Ava loved it and Paige just wanted down most of the time. On the way home we decided to stop at the historic part of Shasta Co. for a little photo shoot. As usual it was a lot of work and took a lot of bribing. We got frozen yogurt with sprinkles when all was said and done. (I don't know who enjoyed it more me or Ava.)
I think that this picture just really shows Paige's Sassy little personality. She is becoming so independent and is really trying to walk as much as possible.
I love when we get a cute picture of them together. The opening that they are sitting in was about four feet off the ground. Too bad the picture doesn't show me on the side, with my arms out just waiting for Paige to go down. Ava was a good big sister and there were no tears or diggers for this photo shoot. Thank you girls and thanks to a daddy who take such cute pictures.
